Main event is the adds that spawns and tentacles that needs to destroyed to get the boss back again. Phase 2: Boss swims away but does some abilities. Phase 1: Boss has 5 abilities. The fight is divided in 3 phases.

Just make sure Shannox is within 100 yards of Rips body when he pops back up or they'll enrage.On our kill Shannox ended up being at 35% right around the corrupted walkway (staff quest boss) so we stopped DPS and focused on controlling the adds. Rip died twice during our pull but he'll respawn in on heroic after 15-20 seconds. You'll want to use the ice traps to help reset Rageface's stacks and slow Rip every time he goes to get the spear back to help reset tank stacks. Those three bosses were all cleared before hand. Last achievement for a few of us before we get Glory to the Firelands raider.Did it on Heroic 10man initial pull at the raid entrance, then up the the Bethilac cliff, portal and around to Alysrazor and Ryo. To all heroes of Azeroth, Sanctuary, Aiur, the Nexus and future EarthI started at the Path of Corruption and killed Rageface so they stun would.
After clearing trash, mount up and wait near the ramp taking you to Rhyolith and wait for Shannox to come around to you. : If you have not cleared Firelands trash yet, I strongly recommend clearing the mobs along the entire northern edge of the zone (Mobs between The Ridge of Ancient Flame to the Path of Corruption), as well as the dogs who quickly run and patrol the paths throughout Firelands.This will not only make the achievement significantly easier, but typically it's exactly enough mobs to spawn Shannox saving you time.If you have already cleared trash, it's OK, just be careful of the insane aggro range of mobs before the Path of Corruption (even at level 90).Bucket List Kiting Shannox the easy way!: : Set your Achievement to "Tracking" so you can see the exact moment when you've succesfully covered a zone. Easily solo'd by anyone with the following tips:Before spawning Shannox: ( Highly Recommended) No reason 10 reasonably competent raiders can't get this done. I've seen guildies go in here and 4/5 man him for this achieve with good team work.
Most of the target areas are just off the circling path at the centre of the Firelands (except Flamebreach, that's why I went there last).- you don't need to kill any of the other bosses. I was at 90% health when I killed him.- using a Power Word: Shield glyphed with Glyph of Reflective Shield will have Shannox help you in your job (he was at 20% health when I reached Flamebreach and I never touched him before that).- tracking your achievement will help, as you don't need to go far into each area to get credit for it. As a hunter, I was rolling with which pulls some major healing, to compensate I used along with the talent + feign death to keep everything on my pet even though he was just running away from the mobs at most points.Once I got all the locations on the list, I burned Shannox to 35%, killed Rageface and Riplimb, then burned Shannox with all my cooldowns, while keeping some heavy heals on the pet.Should be easy for Warlocks.might be a pain in the ass for frost mages since your ele doesn't really have a threat presence.Comment by StarmiraI did this as a shadow priest (an alt), 10m normalI mostly ran as I had to kill Rageface first (I first tried doing it all mounted but Rageface stunned me)1) cleared all the trash that might get in the way2) made sure I had a healing potion or shieldtronic shield with me (I had a shieldtronic shield in fact)3) positioned myself at the bottom of the Beth'tilac's Lair path5) aggroed while mounted and run just up the path (just inside Beth'tilac's Lair area), popped my power word shield and killed rageface (dotting him first, just in case stunned me, as the dot does enough damage to break the stun)6) ran down to (in this order): Path of Curruption, Shatterstone, The Ridge of Ancient Flame, FlamebreachThroughout I kept popping Power Word: Shield and Dispersion on cd, and used 1 Shieldtronic Shield. Remember to hit your /petpassive macro again after you break the Face Rage or he'll just stand there hitting Rageface!NB: Mend pet might cause you to pull *healing* aggro on the other mobs, in that case feign death/soul shatter/invis or something.
IMHO best to only have this achievement tracked and nothing else.1) Keep your eyes out to avoid any traps during this whole thing - this is the only way you will fail if you hit a trap.2) Wait for Shannox near the The Ridge of Ancient Flame.3) Kill Rageface with you pet and some shots if need be.4) Target you PET - not SHANNOX and don't change this.5) Kite Shannox and the other dog up the ramp till you see the achievement give you credit for The Ridge of Ancient Flame.6) Now go to shatterstone again till you see it give you credit.7) Now take him over to the Path of Corruption - same thing.8) Now come out of the path and just hug the wall down to the spider and you'll get credit for that.9) back to the entry way and once you see it all pop - turn round and kill the sucker.1) Keep your pet healed with either spirit heal or mend-pet.2) Don't target Shannox at all - that way you'll not kill him by accident.3) If you pick up stray adds while you kite don't be tempted to kill them - just kite them too. You don't need to clear the spider's path though but the more you clear the better so up to you.2) Put your pet on focus down near your action bar - so you can use spirit heal on it easy.3) Enable Growl and put your pet on PASSIVE (if you don't do this it will kill Shannox and you'll have to wait another week).4) Have the achievement on tracking and make sure you only have 1 or 2 quests tracked as when you engage the focus bars for shannox and the two dogs will push everything on the right down. My favorite is the bear.If you don't have a spirit pet go get one ASAP cos you're life as a hunter when you can heal yourself is a lot easier.1) Clear as much of the main area as you can - take out anything near a point you'll be going to especially everything on The Ridge of Ancient Flame and shatterstone.
